Requirements For Recognition: 

• Complete four (4) of the above SSI Speciality Programs
  • Only (2) specialities from another recognized training agency may be credited toward the Advanced Open Water Diver rating. All non-SSI certifications must be entered into MySSI by the Training Center for the student to receive credit. 
• Log 24 Open Water Dives 

What you need: You are required to provide or rent all of your equipment below for specialty and advanced courses.

• Tanks
• Wetsuit
• Weights
• Hood
• Gloves

Students must purchase or already own:

• Mask
• Fins 
• Snorkel
• Boots
• Knife
• Slate,
• Whistle
• Surface Marker Buoy
• Compass 

Additional equipment needed for night dive includes a dive light, backup light and tank marker.

You may rent complete scuba equipment including compass.

Additional costs: Rental equipment, air fills, charter fees, park admission and parking fees.
